Ice Plant

Ice Plants are large engineered facilities that produces ice slabs of large sizes in bulk. These system consist of large refrigeration equipments that helps in the production. The process involves extraction of water with the help of pumps and pipe arrangement and heat exchange using refrigeration techniques. Ice Plants uses various chemicals such as ammonia and brine as refrigerant for heat transportation. The conversion process is similar to that of a normal refrigerator used in homes. There are various heavy duty equipments are placed in these plants such as compressor, condenser, evaporator throttling valves and connecting pipes etc that are made from best grade of materials to withstand high pressure and temperature.
